The electronic seal is the DLD’s mark that a file is an official certificate rather than an ordinary document or an unofficial export. One consequence worth noting: a screenshot or a photograph of a deed is weak evidence precisely because it can be checked. The DLD anchors title deed records to a blockchain ledger. In plain terms, this means each record has a tamper-evident fingerprint: if a document is altered, it no longer reconciles with the ledger entry, so forgery and quiet edits become detectable rather than invisible. For an owner this is reassurance; for a bank or court it is the basis on which a digital record can be treated as conclusive. It is part of why the electronic deed is trusted as the authoritative version rather than a convenient copy.
